The London Banks Chess League now has a different structure and a different Website.
The old LBCL Divisions were formed into a single Team Swiss Tournament which is played at a central venue.

THE LONDON BANKS CHESS LEAGUE

The London Banks Chess League has been in existence for many years and it is hoped that there will eventually be a history, as complete as we can make it, on this website.
For the moment there is only a few statistics and details of some of the activities of the league, including the coming season's fixture list.
Keep an eye open in the coming months for more about LBCL here. Meanwhile, your help would be greatly appreciated in sending any interesting anecdotes you have about the league to me for possible inclusion, also if you have a favourite chess site on the Web it can be included in our 'links' page when we get one.
