Mandy is 46 years old and lives in Leeds with her daughter Danielle. She is single and her occupation is a manager in the accounts office of Arcadia. She started playing darts at the age of 21 with her ex husband. She was selected to play for Yorkshire in 1993. She currently plays in local league as well as super league. Her high point in darts was when she once won £300 in a Lancashire open. Her low point in darts was when she had a 14 ave whilst she was Yorkshire ladies captain. She has no ambitions in darts other than to play and enjoy the game.
When I asked her for a personal comment about darts she said “I love darts, the people also the social life. If I packed it in I would save a fortune but would miss all of the friends I have made”
My comments on Mandy are that she is a fun loving person who sometimes comes over as a scatter brain due to the entertaining comments she comes out with (we now call them ‘Mandiarism’s’). She is an excellent dart player and I am honoured to say a good friend.
