We have also found some very interesting individuals in all walks of life:
Catherine Kempshall a Music Hall Singer who shot and killed Edgar Swinton
Holland
over breech of promise to marry her in 1897.
John Kempsall who purchased the lease of the Manor of Kingswood, Surrey, in 1535 for 40 years.
John Kempsall Lord of the Manor of Compton, Surrey (see arms below);

Thomas Kempshall, was Alderman of Rochester New York 1834, Mayor 1837,
Member US House of Representatives (Whig) from NY 26th Congress
1839-41; (see picture below)

Three brothers, Ebenezer John and
Eleazor Kempshall, (see pictures below)
who
were soldiers on opposite sides during the American Civil
War,
Eleazor Kempshall later invented the first rubber cored golf ball
called
the Kempshall Flyer and other golfing equipment,

and of course many humble Agricultural Labourers.
