Bury Lawn is an Independent School which takes around 450 pupils ranging from the nappied to 'A' level. The School is just North of Central MK and about 4½ miles from M1 Junction 14 (if you take the recommended route) or, to put it another way, 11 roundabouts!

SoD2K will use their gymnasium as the main hall, but we also have the run of the dining area and other rooms should we need them. MVs should note that the whole school is a non-smoking area : there are no outside bogs in which to have a crafty one!

There is an outside play area (climbing frames, ropes etc.) which your children can use if the weather is fine, but I'm advised that this will be at your own risk.

There is adequate provision for wheelchairs to get into the venue - but do let us know in advance, via the registration form, whether you're planning to bring one so that we can take account of it when arranging the seating.

We will be making an initial contribution to Bury Lawn's Sports Hall Fund appeal - this masquerades as a booking fee. If there turns out to be a small surplus we will offer them a share of that.The balance (if any) will probably be kept as a primer for a future MV event.

We will want to respect the school's security. We'll all need to sign in and out of the school's Visitors Book and we'll probably be expected to wear a badge. MV badges are on the drawing board : one each will be included in your ticket price and sent to you with your ticket.
