The Official Australian ABBA fan club is now the longest running Official ABBA FAN CLUB in the world. We have given over 20 years of service to ABBA fans all over the world, and now you can become a part of the magic that is ABBA. The club began way back in early 1978, and was made an OFFICIAL fan club in August 1978 by the group's management and by ABBA - Agnetha, Benny, Björn & Frida. We are still recognised today as an official club by their record company and the ABBA members - this was confirmed by Benny and Björn in 1994 in a recorded message we received from them for our 1992 convention to celebrate the 20th anniversary of WATERLOO. Non Australian fans confuse
us with the other Official fan club from South Australia, that ran from
1976 to 1983. Graeme Read was the power behind that club. It was sad to
see it end as I myself was a member and used to love Graeme's column "Aunty
ABBA".
When the band stopped recording together we kept going along quietly but then ABBA re-emerged - so did we! The fan club publishes a glossy A5 magazine quarterly, full with new photos and news. Also featuring rare photos only available from Australia. |

Australian ABBA news via the W.W.W. with this ABBA HOME PAGE. We
hope to provide a new and interesting way to keep the ABBA fans of today
up to date. We will be trying to link up with the many ABBA pages and information
sources available to provide you with the best. If you have anything you'd
like to contribute about ABBA for the magazine or for the home page then
please feel free to drop us a line and we'll try to print your articles
& photos.
This club is for you, the remaining loyal ABBA lovers. So join us and lets show ABBA we are still out here and we still love them and their great music. Cheers!
