Andrew was born in Stoke-on-Trent, England, in 1962. From a very early age he has been interested in Archæology and especially the study of stone circles. By profession he is a printer having been apprenticed to a local newspaper company. He currently works in a college of further education in Newcastle, Staffordshire. He is a ‘born-again’ Christian and spent a year at a Bible college in the Peak District, where he trained to be a Methodist Local Preacher. His fascination for Avebury was sparked in the mid-Seventies by the TV series ‘Children of the Stones’. Andrew has visited Avebury on numerous occasions and spent many happy hours exploring the area.
