Acorn Garden Services is a professional and qualified team offering a personal and customised landscaping and gardening service, primarily in the North East of Scotland.

The business was established with the aid of the Prince's Trust in early 1996 by Dawn Williams, a horticulturalist and nurserywoman, fully certificated for nursery work, landscaping, garden design and botany, and who has been involved in the horticultural business for 15 years.

Originally the business revolved around the writing of articles for various magazines and horticultural publications, with Dawn as a resident expert for the gardening clinic in one of the leading gardening magazines, in conjunction with a local and postal garden design service.

After some television work as an expert guest in the field of designing sensory gardens and gardens for the disabled, coupled with a solid knowledge of alpine growing, the one-woman business steadily progressed into a comprehensive design and build, landscaping and maintenance service for private and commercial clients.

In 1998 her partner, who has had experience in both the horticultural and agricultural industry, gave up his management position to help run the business.

The company, although growing with a comprehensive list of satisfied clients, still welcomes all work no matter how large or small the project.
