We are interested in history as well as gaming and therefore almost always choose an historical battle as a subject for our games. We play any historical period you can name and due to our decision to play fast rules most games only last one evening, although some of the 'JUMBO' games go on for two evenings. We aim to have fun games with an historically realistic outcome where the rules are secondary to the generalship.
We live in or near Bideford which is in Devon in England. Our weekly meeting place is a farm between Bideford and Torrington where we are lucky enough to have a very large wargames room. We meet every Thursday at 7pm and the games usually finish between 10 and 10.30pm so we can take a little trip to the local pub !
We have a few regulars who turn up every week and some others who pop in now and again.
