TAKE
THE PLUNGE |
| Welcome -
about this site ... You have entered Katie & Adrian's Round The World Travel site. The site is intended as a resource for RTW travellers. It documents our experiences during a year in which we put the rat race on hold and travelled the globe. We think you will find our travellers tales a fairly light and entertaining read, interspersed with ideas on where to stay and what to do. useful. You will also find much useful advice on what to pack, visas, health etc. If you don't find what you need here, there is a comprehensive bibliography and many useful links to other travel related websites. |
![]() WHAT'S NEW |
It
seems hard to believe that it's four years since we first set off on our
worldwide adventure. Getting used to life in a 9am to 5pm job after
having such a fun year is no easy matter. As an aid to such a difficult
readjustment, we signed up for one more adventure - the World Cup Rally
2001 - a 6000 mile full on car rally from London to the Sahara desert
and back. Check out the fun on the latest addition to our website. |

World
Cup Rally 2001 Many people have asked us how we managed to adapt to a the hum drum life of a 9-5 job in London after epic adventures travelling around the World. The answer was that we signed up for the World Cup Rally 2001, a flat out 600mile across competition from London to the Sahara and back in a full on VW rally car! |
