The charity was established in 1977 in Cartergate Grimsby,
and for many years we have done our best to give a good service and will continue
to do so. In April 2008 we moved to our new premises The Elms, in Abbey Road, Grimsby
Here at Age Concern we do our utmost to care for the older people of
our community by offering a service that they want and need.
As a charity organisation we rely on the dedication of both a
small staff of six and 50 volunteers to operate.
We have a membership of over 1400, (cost £4-00 per year),
and over 500 people who visit our premises weekly. and we also have numerous
telephone calls for one reason or another.
We hope that you will be able to find the answers to any questions
that you may have about our services and opportunities to meet new people and
make friends on our web site. We have links to other web sites for specialised
information click here for Housing, Pensions and other advisory
