The Queen’s Scout Working Party is a national Scout Fellowship with the main function to assist with the running of major National Scout Association Events. These events are many and varied and the list inevitably alters each year. Priority is given to the National Queen's Scouts Events, however, there are occasions when we are asked to assist with high profile non Scout events.
The Queen's Scout Working Party normally consists of approximately 30 Queen's Scouts aged 18-30, from Scotland, Northern Ireland, England and Wales, who serve for five years, or until they are 30, whichever is sooner.
National Scout Events are important occasions and we aim for a very high standard. The success of an event can depend almost entirely upon the responsible and professional action of each individual member of the Working Party. Thinking on one's feet, whilst working reliably and competently as part of the team or as an individual, is an ability which is often called upon when assisting at an event.
