Buying a Mac

We don’t sell Macs, but we know where to buy them.

The supreme Mac buying experience is to be found at one of Apple’s own stores. They have some in London and Birmingham, with another one opening soon in Southampton.

Apple do sell by mail order and their service is excellent.

You can also buy refurbished Macs direct from Apple and save a lot of money. Availability is very limited.

If you’re a teacher or student, you may qualify for an educational discount from Apple. Some of these discounts are considerable, so are well worth having.

There are specialist Mac retailers in some nearby towns. Links to some local ones are elsewhere on this site, along with some mail order suppliers.

Talk to us about your needs and we’ll tell you which dealers might suit your needs best.

Macs aren’t generally sold in high streets, but there are some retailers who do sell them. The John Lewis group stocks them in larger stores and some Waitrose Superstores ( i.e. Salisbury ) stock some models too.

Tesco is planning to sell Macs in some of their Superstores soon. No further details just yet.

PC World do sell Macs, but we wouldn’t recommend that you go there for a Mac.
E-mail us before you buy. Pre-sales e-mail enquiries are free and will help you to get the best Mac for your needs and budget. There is absolutely no obligation.

Macs are mostly sold for similar prices, so it‘s often advantageous to deal with a helpful local dealer. We’ll suggest a suitable dealer to contact.
