Apple pioneered wireless internet operation. It’s been available as a built-in feature for many years and it works very well indeed.
It’s very convenient to to have the freedom to use a laptop around the house and garden and still transfer information to and from other computers in your house, use the internet, or print documents to your printer …
…all of it done wirelessly.
It’s also a convenient way to provide BroadBand to a computer in another room, without the hassle of network cables.
