Fishing in the Barents Sea, north of Norway.

I am a keen angler. I have written two books on angling and contribute regular features to angling magazines in the UK. My company, Wide World Television is currently making a series of six programmes on angling. I am also involved in Church work: I am a Methodist lay preacher. I still play soccer twice a week (just about!).

After a good, long Christmas walk!

Christina is interested diving - we have just enrolled her in a sport diving course to gain a basic diving qualification. Victoria is totally engrossed with ponies at present and Joshua spends his time playing rugby (he plays for Enniskillen U8s), swimming, or playing football. However his favourite sport is still tennis. His only complaint is not being allowed enough time on his Playstation! Jenson is happy with a Pooh Bear video and his teddy bear.

Family ethos. Strong ethics based on Christian values. We have clear parameters for acceptable and unacceptable behaviour, and there are few conflicts as a result. Our home is always tidy and clean, we eat all meals together and I think I can safely say that we are a genuinely happy family. Non-smokers. We have no pets.

I have no time to indulge my personal interests! However, I enjoy travelling (I visit my family several times a year) and I love a long family walk on Sunday afternoons. I recently became a member of the Board of Governors of Enniskillen Model Primary School, after many years of service as secretary of the PTA.
