The aims of the club are as follows
1) Promote the hobby of metal detecting
2) Provide a forum where people interested in metal detecting can meet and discuss.
3) Organise rallies - we usually organise at least one rally per month and being a member of the club means we obtain invites and information on other club’s rallies.
4) Raise funds for charity - we have raised a singificant amount of money for local charities including Castle Street school in Kendal , Wharton Scouts and Furness Hospice.
5) We offer a free search service - if you have lost something important to you, contact us, we may be able to help you find it.
