JOY
JOY is Edinburgh’s maddest and longest-established gay club, now in its 7th year.
The next JOY date is Saturday
October 16th when the club sees the return of one of our
favourite guest DJs Queen Maxine. The night also features resident DJs
Maggie Joy & Alan Joy in the main room playing house to trance & techno
while Trendy Wendy & Sally Findlay entertain the troops in the back room
with cooler house, disco numbers, charty things and whatever takes their fancy
really…
Note that JOY runs at
capacity so it’s especially important for non-members to get to the club early.
As an added incentive, entry prices
are cheaper until 11pm.Once the club is full, that’s that!

MINGIN’
Alan Joy’s club Mingin’ is a
more intense and intimate affair. The music policy is dark, sexy, dirty trance
and features DJs Brian Dempster & Alan Joy. The crowd is friendly, relaxed
and going for it! The club is an economy night out – only £5 entry and with
Studio 24 having probably the cheapest bar prices in Edinburgh’s clubland, a
night out won’t break the bank.

FILTH
Alan Joy’s newest project is
an extension of Mingin’. The same formula but FILTH is a strict dress code club
for people who want to get REALLY dressed up when they go out. Fetish gear,
sexual gear, topless, you get the idea. Make an effort or go somewhere else. No
spectators allowed!
