The club continues to attract an older, friendlier, more relaxed crowd. Brian Dempster is really settling into his half of the night, playing a mixture of house but experimenting with more trancey sounds as his set draws to a close. This allows me to take the crowd further along the trance path - heads down and just go with the music.

The numbers we getting at the club are putting a strain on the bar queue and, more annoyingly, the queue for the loos. To take the pressure off a wee bit I've decided to open up the bar downstairs. This gives everyone access to much larger toilet facilities as well as a better bar. There will also be tables and chairs for people who need to take a little time out.

There won't be music downstairs as I don't think it's appropriate to try and split the crowd or to attract new punters with an additional style of music. All you will hear downstairs is the thump of the beat from upstairs and the cheers and whistles from the crowd. See you all on the 8th May!
