Fine Fettle Cycles is a new bike shop in the charming "maypole" village of Barwick-in-Elmet near Crossgates, Garforth and Aberford in East Leeds.

We stock an exciting range of high quality bicycles from Saracen, Dawes, Claud Butler, Falcon & Barracuda catering for all budgets and performance requirements along with cycle components and accessories from brands such as Cateye & Camelbak and helmets from Bell and Met.

Our range features BMX, Dirt Jump, XC, All-Mountain, Urban Street and Road bikes. There are also women specific and children's bikes available. In a nutshell - if you're a discerning cyclist or want to experience the benefits of becoming one, there's a Fine Fettle Cycle for you!

The shop supports the local cycling community with a quality service and repair workshop and we are happy to undertake work on all makes of bike. All work is carried out by a mechanic with Cytech level 2 and DT Swiss wheel building qualifications - these accreditations are recognised within the cycle industry as achieving a high standard of proficiency.

Barwick-in-Elmet and the surrounding area is a great place to cycle - with quiet, rolling country roads near Sherburn-in-Elmet, scenic bridleways across to Thorner, Scholes & Tadcaster & challenging mountain biking at Harewood House & Temple Newsham. There is also the West Yorkshire Cycle Way - this mammoth 150 mile circular which roughly follows the West Yorkshire County Boundary runs through the centre of Barwick and on to Bramham & Wetherby. It is a monster challenge to do it as a  2 or 3 day ride, but you could just do a few easy miles over to Garforth and along the old railway, just hop on your bike and follow the route sign, a white rose on a green background.
