CAMRA Websites Click
on the CAMRA logo to visit the main site - Ideal for finding out all
about real ale and the campaign to support it. Almost everything you'll
need to know, including membership details. The West Midlands region is well represented with CAMRA branches on the Internet. It's often worth checking neighbouring branches for festival news and local information as they are readily accessible by public transport. CAMRA

Beer-Related Sites (non-CAMRA)There are many real ale sites on the Internet, as any quick search willshow. We'll keep a few interesting ones here, but not enough to clutter the page. J.D.Wetherspoons Pub Group Quaffale - Beer & Brewery Directory Highgate and Walsall Brewery |

| Walsall, in common
with many towns and cities in the West Midlands, is quite well served
for public transport. The best place to find out about transport in the
area is CENTRO,
which caters for the entire West Midlands area and has plenty of
information, advice and links to all the major transport groups in the
region. The main bus operator is TRAVEL WEST MIDLANDS, although timetable information needs working on. NETWORK RAIL (using the old Railtrack URL) is good for train information, but the RAILWAY TIMETABLES is probably the best resource for train times. CENTRAL TRAINS is the largest operator in the Walsall area. (N.B. The rail timetables website is due to a major overhaul in March 2003) |
![]() Protz on Beer is by CAMRA member and writer, Roger Protz. If you have any websites relevant to this page, please let us know. We're particularly interested in ones connected with Walsall pubs and breweries, but any contribution will be fairly considered. |
