Thanks to “A Friend” …. How to use FLAC

First get the software at the link. Open the software and set the settings in the encoding options. Set to level 8, check the verify, check the add tags, check the align on sector boundaries.

This will be how to decode a flac to audio(cda). Make a folder on your hard drive and name it. If you need to know how to make a folder use make a folder line on top right. Put the disc in your drive. wait about 10-15 seconds. Double click on your MY COMPUTER icon. This will be on the desk top or at the start button (bottom left). Find the disc that you put in the drive and RIGHT click on it. Choose the option Copy. Go to the folder you made and RIGHT click on it. Choose the option Paste. You should see the copying taking place. this should take 2-8 minutes. Remove the disc from the computer. Double click on the folder you made. You should see all the files from the disc in there now. In that folder make a new folder name it wav or audio. Now open the Flac front end software. At the bottom right is the output directory. Use the button to pick the folder you named wav/audio.The output directory should now read the wav/audio folder you named wav/audio. At top right use the Add Files button. Add the Flac files. Then choose decode. In a couple mintues it's done.

To encode to flac just reverse it and use the encode instead of decode.
