There is a limited edition seven-inch single available on import from Sweden, containing two brand spanking new never before released Spearmint songs. The single is split with band Peter Bjorn and John. Their side features (I Just Wanna) See Through and When You Find Out. Spearmint's songs are the fantastic and hilarious Say Something Else (a big rant by Shirley with a melodic chorus) and Nothing. To get hold of this 7" EP visit the official Spearmint site. There's a live show in London on December 12th. No more information at present, but it's going to be a low key Christmassy affair - with fake snow and everything. Check back for more information.

The first single from My Missing Days, Left Alone Among the Living, was released in the UK on Ocotber 13th. Sadly it's CD only, catalogue number hitBACK26CD available through 3MV/Pinnacle distribution. We'll have to lobby for a vinyl. Have the mint forgotten their roots? Or just moved on with the times?
