The South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service operate four of these interesting Mercedes Benz Econic/Saxon vehicles. All four of them operate as Incident Command Posts and also have a second role. This particular appliance is also the service's Community Fire Safety Education vehicle, and its Incident Support Unit for Pollution Containment. It is based at Edlington fire station near to Doncaster.
