Ballantrae Primary School Community Project 2006

We were delighted to be involved in the Ballantrae Primary School children's project.  We thought that it was a very worthwhile gift to the community and we will certainly be making good use of the facility!  The children made their own decisions as to the type of project they wished to carry out and took control of the many elements involved.  Deciding on a bench and an interpretative plaque.  They then went on to carry out much of the work involved themselves.  We were invited along to the opening ceremony on June 26th and were very well entertained by the children of the Pupils Council.

We must thank the children for allowing us to be a part of their great idea and hope that our photograph is enjoyed by all who see it.

If you're in Ballantrae, do take the time to visit the Foreland where you too can enjoy the chance to rest a while and enjoy the view thanks to a great bunch of kids.
