Following a final meeting of the Club Committee on 28 March 2001 a decision has been taken to wind-up the Club. Kinver Canoe club was based in the West Midlands, with most of our members coming from around Stourbridge and Halesowen. The Club was formed in the early 1980's by the parents of a group of Scouts based in the Kinver area.

The Committee have consulted with the members and many of the former friends and members about what to do with the remaining funds and equipment. At their last meeting, they decided to donate all the Club equipment to Telford Canoe Club. Provision has been made to cover the cost of transporting this to TCC's site at Jackfield.

As a Club, we specialised in the sport of Canoe Slalom.
