CHARITIES
Sir Richard Sandys, of this parish, bart. by will, proved in 1726, gave to the churchwardens and overseers of Norborne, the sum of 5l. to be laid out in buying coals, at the cheapest time of the year, and to be by them sold out to the poor of the parish at the same price that they cost, and the monies arising from such sale to be a fund, to be yearly employed for the same purpose.
