World War I - List of Serving Men

The following is a list of serving men from, or associated with, Northbourne and is based on a number of sources but derives mainly from lists of serving men published in the 'Deal Walmer and Sandwich Mercury' during WWI. The original lists have also been reproduced to identify when a particular name appears:

Serving Men Jan. 1916 - Includes casualties and identifies those who went to Northbourne School. This is the last list before conscription was introduced.

Serving Men April 1916 - Includes casualties and identifies those who went to Northbourne School as well as a section of those associated with Betteshanger and Ham.

* Denotes killed in action or died from wounds.
