Designed for a particular airline, 'Scarlet Lady' is a Boeing 747
'Raging Red' serial number 42-31353 was a B17 that had quite a short life. It joined the 91st Bomb Group of the 8th Air Force on 21st June 1943 and was lost on a raid over Schweinfurt on August 17th 1943.
It's that airline again! another 747 named 'Boston Belle'.
Operating in the pacific theatre at the closing stages of WWII, 'Victory Girl' a B29, serial number 42-24731 is aptly named.
