I am a painter and print maker, I am fascinated by human relationships, closeness and distance and the spaces that exist in between; much of my work has been inspired by literary sources i.e. Angela Carter and Kathy Page. Colour has always been a key feature of my work and my pallet ranges from vibrant and bold to subtle pastel shades, depending upon my chosen medium. I delight in acquiring new skills and working with different media. As a printmaker I enjoy making intaglio lino prints, monotypes, woodcuts and collagraphs. I have applied prints to paper mache vessels, worked on numerous textile based projects and have become heavily involved, in the last two years, in projects which centre around the use of mosaics.
