Hall Of Shame

This Area is for any person that should be publicly shamed because of some disgraceful decision or action. Any suggestions and reasons should be e-mailed to me with "Hall Of Shame" as the subject.

Colin Hardie (Referee) - Responsible for possibly the worst decision seen in football. When Alloa were playing St. Mirren in December 2002, Alloa were winning 2-0 until Hardie gave St. Mirren a penalty when Saints striker Martin Cameron handled the ball in the box. St. Mirren went on to the win the game 3-2 as the Alloa players were so distracted and mortified to see such a decision. It also ultimately cost Alloa a place in the 1st division as they were relegated on goal difference.

Brain Cassidy (Referee) - The most incompetent  referee I have seen. This is because be seems to lack the basic knowledge of football rules and constantly makes strange and incorrect decisions. For an excellent example see the 11th August 2001, match report against Greenock Morton.

Sam Monin (Former Raith Rovers Goalkeeper)- This 'keeper had a part to play in Alloa's 2001 relegation from the 1st division. In a potential relegation decider against Raith Rovers, Monin was seen faking a head injury to get Alloa Striker Gareth Evans sent off. He then did himself no favors by mocking the Alloa crowd.

Adolf Hitler (Potential world dictator and generally evil man) and the SFA, - In 1939 Alloa were in the top division in Scotland. The season started and Alloa were doing well, then war was declared. All football was stopped until after the War. The teams in the leagues were then reshuffled by the SFA, and Alloa despite sitting sixth in the league before the war was unfairly put in the 2nd top division, and have not yet returned to top-flight football.
