Gareth Hutchison (No Longer With Alloa)
Forward/Attacking Midfielder
Gareth was Falkirk's top goal-scorer in the 2000-2001 season but because of financial difficulties they couldn't afford to keep him, so Terry Christie stepped in quickly to sign the forward he managed at Stenhousmuir. Gareth's presence in the Alloa team is valuable as he is a established goal scorer - something Alloa have been lacking since Martin Cameron left. Gareth scored a hat trick within sixteen minutes of his debut, against local rivals Stirling Albion, in the Stirlingshire Cup. Gareth was Alloa's top goal scorer in 2001-2002 with 19 goals. These helped Alloa gain promotion to the 1st division and get to the final of The Challenge Cup.
Gareth was released when his contract ran out in pre-season 2003, he has since joined Berwick Rangers.
