Managing the Reserve

 Also: Glow Worms,  Butterfly Survey

The local volunteer group works in partnership with Worcestershire County Council's Countryside Service who manage the reserve on behalf of Malvern Hills District Council.

If you are interested in joining the volunteer group or would just like to see what we are doing, please contact us. We meet about 4 times a year, usually at Malvern Wells Village Hall.

Below are just some of the activities with which we are involved. We are always happy for more people with ideas and energy to join the group and to get involved with any of these activities, or others that we haven't thought of yet!

Planning and leading the conservation volunteer days

  Fundraising locally and through grants
  Recording plants and animals
Working out proposals for projects such as grazing, ponds and footpaths
  Photographing the reserve
  Making links with schools
  Preparing maps
Woodwork such as making bird boxes and seats
  Guiding walks and talks
