Mário was born in 1966. He has a degree in Philosophy, a master degree in Clinical Psychology and Psychopathology by the Lisbon Faculty of Medicine, and is also qualified in Regression Therapy and Clinical Hypnotherapy. He is a state certified Clinical Psychologist, a Certified Regression Therapist and Hypnotherapist, and a certified Life between Lives therapist with the Michael Newton Institute. His training included two years in body psychotherapy and three years through the Awakened Dream with Marc-Alain Descamps.
He works as a Clinical Psychologist, Regression Therapist, and as a trainer in Regression Therapy. He runs a Regression Training program in collaboration with Hans TenDam and Roger Woolger. He is co-author of a book Consciousness Psychology - Research and Reflection in Transpersonal Psychology .
