PYE B18T Television
PYE B18T Television (1948) The PYE B18T Television was a single channel TRF table set with a 9 inch CRT. The B18T was originally designed for the London area and for AC mains only. In late 1948 a universal mains version apeared and in 1949 a Birmingham version became available. I bought my set at the Birmingham collectors fair for £35. It is a very early example. I have now got it back to almost full working order, but, a lot more work needs to be done on it to make it reliable.
