The pink phone

The pink phone was made by me as an 19th birthday present for an ex girlfriend. It was made using a black replica 232 and a Tandy's one piece phone. The Tandy phone was put on a mill, this was done to remove the keypad, then a slot was cut in the base of the 232 to allow for the keypad ribbon cable. The workings of the one piece phone were modified to work with an old dial and an original earpiece. A separate Tandy bell box was used. The finished phone was then sprayed pink.

The phone was returned, 20 months after I split up from her.
