I have compiled this tube data into sets of tables to aid the substition of tubes of one type with another. The tubes listed in each table are arranged so that the most similar tubes are placed near each other in the list.
Aluminised tubes are generally placed towards the end of each table as they can only be used where the EHT is at least 7KV.
It should be noted that a 57 deg. MAZDA tube such as the CRM93 will often fit into a set designed for a MULLARD 60 deg. tube such as the MW22-16 (eg. in the case of the TV22). However a MAZDA 57 deg. tube cannot replace a GEC 62 deg. tube such as the 6505, for this a MULLARD 60 deg tube must be used.
Tubes of slightly different heater voltages are often mixed together as in most sets the tube is part of a series heater chain, therefore it is the current that is more important.
