On the left is Brooke and Eliot as it was in the beginning (March '90).

By 1988 there were a neighbour's vintage tractors in the cowshed and a student in the cottage.  The cows had left but we still farmed the land.                                                                 In 1989 the tractors went to their new home, the student likewise.  All was empty.  What was to be done?  A bright idea occurred so through 1990 we built and converted, we painted and we shopped and gardened.          This is the result.
