BAILEY
I am trying to find a death of Lydia Bailey nee Coates she was born in 1886, she married Robert Bailey in 1911 in Bradford, they had at least three children on being Lucy born 1915, Lucy married someone called Laycock in 1937 and had Maureen in 1939, I think she married a Colin Sykes around Bradford, Halifax Bailiff Bridge area. Seeking information on my 3 x great grandfather, John Bassett. Born around 1791. Only confirmed detail is his marriage, whilst serving in the West Kent Milicia in Kingston upon Hull, to Susannah Shannon b. Leeds around 1790? John appears in the 1841 census only. BROWN
James Brown was born Roxburgh c1781. He had an older brother John; Both went to the Isle of Man, marrying Manx girls dying in 1837 and 1818. Their mother was MARY, but do not have a maiden name. The father may have been a wine merchant in Jedburgh 1780s-1800s. Can anyone help ?. Robert Hendry(18/06/2009)

COSTE
Kate was born in London, probably within the City, daughter of a wine merchant. She married James Lambert and in the early part of the 20th Century, they went to Ontario. James died and she later remarried, but always kept in touch with our family - at least until nearly 1950. Any help or photo's appreciated. Pat Weller (05/08/2005)

DENNY
I am seeking descendants of Frederick William Denny b.19/2/1860 in Shoreditch, Middlesex. Parents William and Jane Denny nee Quaill/Quaite. Frederick married Mary Elizabeth Few on 6 December 1885 in Bethnal Green. Frederick died on 24 November 1918 in Whitecapel, London. He was a french polisher by profession. They had 6 children, Alfred, Clara, Elizabeth who married George Woodhouse, Grace and Kate who may have married a William Cook and Frederick William junior. Fred jnr. is my grandfather who married Lilian Rundle in 1911 in Walthamstow and migrated to Australia in 1914 arriving on the ship NORSEMAN. Should you be a descentant I would love to hear from you. Searching for descendants of Henry Fairman (1835- 1921) and Jane (Naunton) Fairman (1836 - 1909) both of Chelsea and Battersea. Both died at 9 Radstock street Battersea. Children were: Mary Ann, George, James, Charles, Laura, Florence and Louise. Charles married Jessie Hatcher and had son Charles who immigrated to Canada. George married Sophie Richardson. FOLEY, James b c1810, was a Shoemaker in London in 1860 when his son Thomas. James FOLEY was married in Victoria AUS. Thomas James FOLEY was born on 4 December 1839 at 3 Seven Steps Alley, Houndsditch, Aldgate. Perhaps James was a shoemaker then. James 'wife' [relationship not confirmed], was Ann McALISTER [aka McGLAUGHLAN]. Ann, who stated that she was born in Scotland c1810, was convicted in the Assizes of stealing and was transported to Van Dieman's Land [Tasmania] in 1843 on the 'WOODBRIDGE'. I am looking up information on my family and I got to the part where they came from England but that is as far as I can get. Can you help me? Can you look up the name John Freese II. He was born around 1601 in Northamptonshire , England. Is it possible you can give me any more info on him and his family. I also have heard that there was a James Freese a merchant in London, England in the early 1600's. MILLTHORPE
Eleanor Millthorpe married John SWAN in 1815 in YKS Tankersley and had a daughter Elizabeth who married Obadiah MILLTHORPE as his second wife in 1836 in YKS Sheffield St Peter. His first wife was Mary ?????? , married c1824. I know of no connection between Eleanor and Obadiah. In Census Eleanor always maintained she was of London Spitalfields and age on census and at death suggests a birthdate c 1798/9. Obadiah died in 1842 so I have no place of birth other than Yes in 1841 for born in Yorkshire. John Swan died and Eleanor them married Samuel Dimberline, moving to DBY Staveley sometime before 1841. After Obadiah died, his widow Elizabeth with her young son John Swan Millthorpe who was my gr grandfather also moved to DBY Staveley. Any info appreciated. Eileen Beech (16/03/2007)

I am trying to find Joseph Trott (parents Abraham and Mary) born 1853 Chard, Somerset. He was married to Caroline Castment (1871 Q1 5c pg642) and they had a son Samuel born 29/12/1875. I think Caroline may have died very shortly after this and Joseph appears in the 1881 & 1891 census in the Royal Marine Barracks, East Stonehouse, Durnford Street (Private RM).
