Getting there
Hi Ju, Hope you have recovered enough to get your head together for the next amazing instalment of the priory chronicle. Well life's not too busy now, the font is drying out slowly, awaiting its finish next Sunday. l have started putting out stones and footprints, they don't look too great at the moment, but need to be there at the mo. l am hoping to move them around every week, to reveal marks in the grass. l am hoping this will give a sense of fade/time.
Enclosed are photos, l hope. Tim mentioned that some of the photos and sketches could do with being a little bigger on the web page. Could l leave that with you ?
Thought
that you may need a sense of size, the base is 30 inches, and the height
of the dish 11 inches, the width of the dish is roughly 40 inches. The
cloister area was covered with frost this morning, not the crispy kind,
but white. The area is a bit bumpy, especially where the rabbits have been
digging for bulbs. I've been looking at the booklet and talking to the
custodian here. The water tower was sited off centre, and not central to
the cloister area. Now what do you think about siting, either we go for
correctness and history or space, we need to think about this one. Anyway,
l'll call it a day now and tidy up, l am going off earlier this week as
l came over on Saturday. I'll be back here on Sunday afternoon, but in
the office on Thursday to see and send mail.
Look
after yourself. Love
Rita
P.S. looking forward to seeing you soon.
