Remote control
This turned out to be easier and cheaper than I thought. :o)
Using Igor Cesko's DOSGir software, and a simple cable that goes to the RS232 port, any remote control can be used to mimic one or several keyboard actions.
After a bit of fiddling I got it to work, and I ended up accidently setting the wrong function and deleting some fo my tunes, Ive just got to set it up with a JVC VCR remote bought for £1 in a junk shop :o)
A rectangular hole
about 9.5x4mm in the top left of the front panel was drilled out
and filed and I put the reciever in the hole and used adhesive
cable clips to hold the cable on the inside of the metal lid of
the computer, and the reciever is secured in place with a glue
gun.
