LCD mounting
The screen is too high for an ordinary 5.25" drive bay.
My friend Steve kindly cut a hole in case for me.
He did this by drawing an outline of the screen on the case and scoring the lines with a knife.
A series of holes are drilled in an X across the area, then the holes scored with a knife, then the four pieces were broken off with pliers and the gap filed to a nice neat rectangle.
The four mounting holes were then drilled with a wider bit used to make the flat screwheads flush with the panel, where it sits in very nicely. :o)
I would now recommend you only try and wire up an LCD if you really have good knowledge of electronics, as I tried many times and could not get it to work.
I purchased the LCD off ebay, which are quite hard to find, I would do a search for "20x4 LCD" on ebay.de German site as there is plenty there.
