CHINA BEACH	1988-91 USA	A TV series which to my knowledge has not aired in the UK at all, at least not on any of our network channels. Dana Delany was in it as Lt.Colleen McMurphy, looking beautiful with her brown-bob hairstyle.
CORONATION STREET	2007 UK	The longest-running and most well-known TV soap opera in the world will probably continue for as long as people want to watch it. At the moment you can watch Kim Ryder (nee Marsh) as barmaid Michelle Connor with her very sexy black bob-style hair and 1960s-like eye makeup.
LOIS AND CLARK - THE NEW ADVENTURES OF SUPERMAN	1993-97 USA	How could I forget this series? It was a must-see for Teri Hatcher's long-bob style hair, one of the best examples I have seen of a sexy centre-part bob, at least until she changed it later in the series.
MAYO	2006 UK	This is a recent TV series which has the well-known impressionist Alistair McGowan playing a straight (more or less) role as DI Gil Mayo. On his team of four is Loo (Louise) Brealey, a petite actress with a very cute bob, who plays forensic expert 'Anorak'. She is very small and pretty. You may remember she was nurse 'Roxie' in Casualty, the long-running TV series/soap, a while back.
MEDIUM	2007 USA	Patricia Arquette has a very sexy blonde-bob hairstyle in this TV series, in which she plays a psychic medium who helps police with various murder investigations. Bob-hair lovers will almost forget to follow the story each week, being too busy watching pretty Patricia's bob (like me)!
POIROT	1989-2008 UK	Very well-made TV series of the famous Agatha Christie stories featuring her Belgian detective character Hercules Poirot. All 63 stories have been, or are being filmed. Episode 5 from Season 1, 'The Third Floor Flat' has Suzanne Burden playing Patricia Matthews with very sexy medium-bob blonde hair.
SECOND THOUGHTS	1991-94 UK	Here in Britain we have a fine actress called Belinda Lang who is mainly known for her comedy roles on TV and the stage. I think she's an extremely sexy lady, especially when she has her hair in a chic bob style, as she does here!

THE HOUSE OF ELLIOT	1991-94 UK	This was a series about the fortunes of a London fashion house in the 1920's. So naturally The Bob was featured. There were at least 3 (maybe more) actresses that wore the straight pageboy style that I find so sexy and elegant. Louise Lombard played Evie Eliott, one of the 2 Eliott sisters, and she had a sexy short 'Brooksie bob'. The pics here are of Kate Fahy (left) and Madlena Nedeva (right). See Series 2 onwards.
THE INNOCENCE PROJECT	2006-07 UK	This is another new series showing on BBC1, which is about a group of young law students tasked with taking up the cases of people thought to be wrongly convicted and imprisoned (all fictional, of course). The Irish actress Ruth Bradley plays Beth McNair and has a beautiful brunette bob.
THE MRS. BRADLEY MYSTERIES	2000 UK	This was another series set in the 1920's featuring Diana Rigg in the title role as an upper-class female sleuth, with nice brown bob hair. There was also at least 1 other actress in it who had even better hair (Carli Norris appeared in the episode 'Death At The Opera').
THE X-FILES	1993-2002 USA	I was an avid viewer of this series because of its content anyway, so it gave me added enjoyment to watch Gillian Anderson as FBI Agent Dana Scully. Her bob hairstyle varied quite a bit throughout the series, but it was always neat and suited her.
UFO	1969-70 UK	This is another unforgettable TV series. The first Gerry Anderson production to use real actors as opposed to puppets in all his preceding shows (Thunderbirds, Stingray, etc.), is of particular interest to me because of the striking purple bob wigs worn by the female Moonbase personnel as part of their uniform. The most beautiful of them was Gabrielle Drake who played Lt.Gay Ellis. (Incidentally, she's the sister of the late, great musician Nick Drake.)
