Welcome to Backstreet Studios Musical Instruments and thank you for visiting our site.

Backstreet Studios first started trading way back in 1984. The idea for the name stems from the fact that most of the best talent is found in the back streets of wherever you may be.

After starting out with three practice rooms in Upper Street , Islington , we decided to move on to our larger premises, which we now occupy at 313 Holloway Road , Islington , N.7 , formerly known as 313 Rehearsals, and formerly owned by Michael Sellers, son of the late great Peter Sellers. The studios are of good location and offer excellent facilities for all musicians pro or non pro.

We set up the record label back in 1990 after a few attempts at management. Since the label was born , it's been brilliant. No number 1 hits yet but we are still trying.
