Low Bali Hotels / Accommodations Charges!
First, a warning - It is a fact that some web-sites say they
can get rooms at hotels for lower prices when they can not. Sometimes,
this is simply due to their not removing an expired promotional
offer. Or, at worst, it could be a ruse simply to get your credit
card details. And sometimes it is good old "switch and bait"
(deliberately advertising rooms at unsustainable prices and at hotels
they have not been authorised to represent). This is so they can
take enquiries and then say "Sorry, this hotel is fully booked!
But we have a much better one to offer you!" Of course, this
means a worse hotel but better $ commission for them! Read some

We urge you NOT to give your credit card details until the
hotel or an IATA accredited reservations agent has confirmed there
is a room available and provisionally booked in your name for that
price. And please, please, please. If an agent shows a price, then
claims the hotel is fully booked and then offers you a room elsewhere.
Please ask yourself if you believe what is being said. And, if not,
refuse to do business with them for your sake and for others.
It is a fact, unlike other direct reservations sites, we
do not charge the hotels / villas to be featured on this site, and
we charge them much less (around 75% less!) than other reservations
sites to get & automatically handle / process any reservation
requests for them.
However, for these highly preferable terms we get the hotel to guarantee
us 3 things. First, is that they pay us on time! Second, is that
they are one of the best (top 10%) hotels / villas in their price
range. And third, that they provide us with the lowest Internet
rates available.
That is why certain hotels are not on our site - because they can
not make us that guarantee (really). And that is why we have added
hotels that are booked through a 3rd party reservations service,
because they get the lower, volume related rates we can not.
So, if you see a hotel with a
next to their name on the area listing / directory pages, they will
have made that promise to us! Therefore, if you find their hotel
rooms advertised elsewhere for less, let us know. And we will take
them to task about this (demand they match that price or better
it). After all, a reservation made
directly with the hotel is so much better than one made with a 3rd
party. Especially if that 3rd party was only after your credit card
information!
