Better Bali Hotels Lodgings? Absolutely! Anyone who has travelled
will know
that the difference in quality between supposedly equivalent establishments
can be incredible. We've done quite a bit to make sure you get the
very best of each category.
When hotels and villa owners approach us to come onto our direct
reservations site, we make it clear we are only interested in the
top 20% for each price category. These are not just words, this
service was started by someone (Mark Austin) who puts travelling
first, maximum profit last.
It is a fact, we charge around a quarter of what other sites charge
hotels and do this so we can justify our 3 entry criteria. These
are (in order), they must be one of the top 10% of their price range
for quality and value, they must give us the lowest available Internet
prices for their rooms, and they must pay us on time. If a hotel
or villa can not meet these criteria, we do not provide our direct
reservations service for them.
Not only that, Mark goes to as many of these hotels as possible,
to make sure they are the best value and remain that way. In fact,
many of the hotels on this site were especially invited by him to
join this service after he had been to stay there first as a regular
tourist. Many of the pictures you will see on the hotel pages were
taken by him. So he knows first hand what they are like. Ask the
other travel & Internet agents, including those in Indonesia,
if they have ever visited the hotels they say are the "best"
and see what they say!
We have attempted to bring you as many of the best of the best as
we can, either by dealing directly with that hotel / villa, or by
using our preferred 3rd party reservations service provider and
a local villa management agent. But done the best we have. After
all, it's not just your money, it's your precious holiday / vacation
we are talking about here!
