The Companies Bill
New Companies legislation aimed at providing a modern, cost-effective, fair and transparent system for business, shareholders, creditors and others is being drafted. This builds on the proposals contained in the White Paper 'Modernising Company Law' issued on 16 July 2002 and on further proposals to be published later.
