A (Government) consumer policy and research organisation with special focus on the needs of disadvantaged consumers,  NCC looks for the big consumer issues of the future and lobbies to shape today's consumer policy debate.

It is independent of government,  but benefits from a close working relationship.  NCC has sister organisations in Wales and Scotland, and strong links in Northern Ireland.
