The Wild Boar Trail Ride

Sunbiggin Tarn with Wild Boar Fell

Day One

This day's ride is the same as the first day of the Fat Lamb Trail Ride

Day Two

We set off from the Fat Lamb, across Cote Moor and on to join the Pennine Bridleway, which takes us up and over Wild Boar Fell itself. Then down into the beautiful Mallerstang Valley.

After the steep descent we follow the valley bottom to Pendragon Castle. From Pendragon we turn on to Wharton Fell, and after a lunch stop we head across the common land and down beautiful lanes into the village of Ravenstonedale before we return to the Fat Lamb Inn for our second night.
