Riding for the disabled in the Woking area
What We do

We offer riding for the disabled under the rules and guidelines of Riding For The Disabled Association.

Sessions take place at Shey Copse Riding Centre, Maybury – 3 groups on Saturday afternoon.

Sessions vary from hacking out in the woods to learning riding techniques and gymkhana games. The school is outdoors and is floodlit in winter.

Each rider rides to their own ability so everyone is challenged and everyone has fun.

There are proficiency tests in stable management and/or riding according to the rider’s ability with a badge and a certificate awarded for successful completion of each test.

We are fortunate that Shey Copse Riding Centre offers Rocking Horse substantially discounted rates which we pass on to our riders. There is no financial support from RDA Headquarters.
