Session Helpers

We require at least one helper per rider plus a group instructor for each session.

Helpers assist the riders according to their needs and experience and will lead the horse as required. Riders love the helpers as much as the horses.

Helpers also may tack up the horses prior to the sessions and the really enthusiastic ones go on to become an instructor.

The group instructor oversees and makes sure each session is safe and interesting for the riders.

Helpers must be at least 14 years old to be covered by insurance

An interest in horses is not essential as training will given but it would be useful.

If you are doing The Duke of Edinburgh award you may consider RDA for your service.
