What happens next?….You decide!

Tale Enders is different every time as the audience decides the end of the story, and can volunteer to join in with the acting too.

Pantomime Time! The Magic Paintbrush
Why just sit and watch?
The Magic Paintbrush is an adapted version of the traditional Chinese folk tale. The audience will enjoy the exciting and funny opening scenes, then with the help of our 3-person acting team, they devise the rest of the Pantomime and its characters, and help to perform it.  An unforgettable, unpredictable and completely hilarious experience. Pantomime will never be the same again…

Schools enjoy Tale Enders as something special for book week, fun at the end of term, or perhaps a kick-start to some cross-curricular creative work. Outside of mainstream schools, we’ve performed Tale Enders at children’s centres, day care centres and special schools.

Tale Enders was originally designed for large public events – music and arts festivals in particular. It offers a quirky original flavour to the events on offer, and is perfect for family audiences

Background
The Treehouse Theatre acting team use an inclusive and egalitarian story-gathering technique to help the audience devise the end of the Tale. As each scene is devised, the actors will ask the audience if anyone would like to help act it out – we use no props, costumes or scenery so all the characters, objects and effects are played by the actors and audience. The result is always hilarious and unpredictable, a truly unique experience. More>>>
